Présentation du Jury Longs Métrages
Longs Métrages
Frank Henenlotter

Director, New York, USA
Born in 1950 and raised by exploitation cinema, Henenlotter did his film school by going to the 42nd street’s grindhouse theatres. In 1981, he directed Basket Case, which became a midnight classic praised by all sick film lovers and artists with fine taste such as The Ramones. Then came Brain Damage (1987), a monstrous allegory on drug addiction, Frankenhooker (1990) and its man-made whore from bits of exploded crack-addicted hookers, and two Basket Case sequels (1990-91). Since then, he is (re)discovering obscure films released through the label Something Weird Video. This year marks his return as a director with Bad Biology.
Alex Masson

Journalist, Paris, France
39 years old. He turned movie critics at the beginning of the 90's realising that is was facilitating the access to the screenings rather than by sneaking in.
He has contributed and contributes to various medias along the years such as Radio Nova, Les Inrocks, Standard or Première. He might not be that bad has he was called to take part of the Week of the French Critics and to be French delegate of the San Sebastian Film Festival. He is also said to be a good cook!
