Sex Galaxy

100 years from now, in order to counter-balance over-population and global warming, sex becomes illegal on Earth. When a group of astronauts hears of the existence of a planet populated by insatiable females, they decide to veer off their planned itinerary with the hope to discover this famous “galaxy of sex“. Allowing their sex-crazed spirits to emerge, Mike Davis and Jonathan Yudis (the brains behind the film Pervert! – LUFF 2006) resorted to a method dear to Roger Corman: the appropriation of productions lagging in the public domain. Ironically, the film hijacked here is Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women (1966), itself a Corman appropriation of La Planeta Bur, a 1962 Soviet space-opera. But the intentions of the perverted duo are far from those, solely commercial, of the 400-film producer; they invented - as they state - a new sub-genre: the scixploitation, blending science fiction and sexploitation.
