Do Florian Hecker and Russell Haswell still need to be introduced? Haswell, the English and Hecker, the German are both multidisciplinary artists who have worked with the best : Merzbow, Karkowski, Aphex Twin for Haswell ; Rehberg, Yasunao Tone for Hecker. They met in 1996 in Vienna. In 2003 they decided to work with the UPIC composition tool created in 1976 by Lannis Xenakis, that links graphic design with sonorous expression. It resulted in an album called « the blackest black ever », released by Warner Classics and presented to the public with surround mode side by side with visual lasers.
