Parataxis & Interference Night
This night brings together artists who generate and treat sound as a travelling notion which crosses over mental, bodily, architectural and political boundaries and thresholds.
Valerio Tricoli and Robert Piotrowicz work on the relationships of intensity that build up between their machines, the audience and themselves, while Gendreau reveals the moving masses which translate across words and structures and amplifiy the language that is peculiar to each concert hall. On a different note, master conscience-shakers and convention-breakers Leif Elggren and Carl-Michael von Hausswolff have been exploring since 1992 mental and perceptive territories like the twilight zone that lies between sleep and wakefulness. Whether you are a passing visitor or consider yourself a future citizen of their their realm, the only entrance to the Kingdom of Elgaland-Vargaland is through the Casino’s Great Gate.
